In my Private Therapy Yoga sessions at Karuna Yoga, I work closely with individuals navigating a wide range of health conditions—chronic back pain, Multiple Sclerosis, cancer remission, shoulder and upper back tendonitis, and age-related challenges faced by senior students and elderly parents.
These are not just modified classes—they are deeply personalized therapeutic sessions. Every hour is dedicated to you—your unique needs, your current state, and your path to healing. I tailor each session to address what your body, mind, and spirit need most on that particular day.
I pay close attention to alignment, breath, and comfort, offering guidance that’s clear, gentle, and respectful of your condition. If today is a day for strength, we build. If it’s a day for rest, we soften. I listen closely—not just to your words, but to your breath, your movement, and what your body is communicating.
For senior students or elderly parents visiting, these sessions are a compassionate way to stay mobile, reduce stiffness, improve balance, and bring ease into everyday movements.
But the healing journey is never just physical. I also hold space for the emotional and spiritual aspects of recovery—helping students navigate fear, fatigue, grief, or the simple overwhelm that can come with major life changes.
